October to November 2017 –
I picked up both of these Triple A games super cheap after waiting a year, on www.IsThereAnyDeal.com (ITAD). Tell ITAD what you want, and it’ll tell you new low prices, it rocks.
Both of these games are super wonderful and awesome in their ways, but also occasionally maddening… Doom locks you into small rooms sometimes, or has inane reflex (rune) challenges… Titanfall 2 (TF2s) solo would be much more cool except it makes a huge deal of running along walls in a counter-intuitive way. Hey TF2s, if I wanted to play Frogger, I would have fired it up again. Please stop with the gimmicks, game companies. Deliver action or drama, but not jumping games. [Optional add-in games and DLCs are always perfectly fine.]
I am thinking I won’t bother to finish Titanfall 2 solo because it makes me perfectly fine-tune a jump through a fire hole. I didn’t sign up for a hundred attempts at a jump through multi-banked counter-intuitive fire hoop, a la Frogger 2017. I won’t ask for my money back since I got it for $15. But I will ask, Did anybody pay $50 for this when it originally came out, and not feel sad?
